Sound art is today an art form accepted in its own right as well as an integrated part of film, modern dance, drama and performance. Sound is an important part of the whole in media art, video art and installations. This programme prepares you for academic studies and also for work as a professional.

You will learn to work creatively with sound and discover its potential as a creator (and manipulator) of atmosphere. You will learn technique, recording and processing. You will experiment with sound, develop your own ideas, and learn the basic principles of dramaturgy. You will create your own sound design and your own compositions while receiving continuous response and feedback. The programme collaborates with the other art programmes at the college.

The languages of instruction are Swedish and English.
